St. Lucie Medical Center Receives Florida Blood Center’s President’s Award for Employee Blood Donations

HCA’s east Florida Division has awarded St. Lucie Medical Center the President’s Award for blood donations. St. Lucie’s employees stepped up to the division-wide challenge and 18% of its workforce donated the largest percentage of blood to Florida’s Blood Centers out of all the 13 HCA Hospitals in the east Florida division. The trophy rotates to the facility with the largest percentage of blood donors, but can remain with St. Lucie Medical Center if the hospital maintains the largest percentage of blood donated for three consecutive quarters.
